How to Display Emergency Contact Info on Your Phone's Home Screen

Is your mobile phone locked to prevent unauthorized access to your sensitive data? (If not, you should!) But what happens in case of emergency (ICE) and first-responder can’t access your contacts? Make a simple background for your (and your kid's) phone that can be viewed even while locked. Here's how:

  • First, open Notes and type something like, "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: Please call _____ at ____!"
  • When you’re happy with it, capture a screen shot with your phone's camera.
  • Select the photo, use it as wallpaper and save it as your lock screen!

Done!
